Terms & Conditions for Academic Bookings 2009-2010

Please read carefully before completing the application form.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

THIS IS A NON- SMOKING COMPLEX
Applications are accepted only for the entire occupancy period - 4th Sept 09 to 28th May 2010. Should the tenant vacate the room before the termination date rent will be refunded only if the room is re-let. We will endeavor to find a suitable replacement, but if the room remains empty the tenant is liable for the rent until the contract is terminated. Security Deposits are not refunded if the tenant leaves before the termination date. Please note that should a tenant have paid the 1st installment and leave during the term they are liable for the remainder of the rent if the room is not re-let.
HOW TO BOOK
Applications are accepted by post or in person at reception. Online bookings are not available for the academic year.
The application form should be returned, including booking/security deposit of €300, two recent passport photographs signed at the back, a reference (applies to new tenants only). 1st years are required to have a reference signed by their school principal. Please send the completed form to:

Please note that not all preferences are guaranteed, on the type of room, Situation and room mates that you will share with. This is an application form and not a contractual agreement. The company acting through its management has the right to decline an application.

Note: 3, 4 and 5 bed deluxe ensuites are not available to 1st year students.
Confirmation of booking will be posted within 3 -4 weeks.
METHOD OF PAYMENT
Cheque or bank draft made payable to: The Village Accommodation.
Credit Card, Bank transfer (please contact reception for details)
Cash (at reception only)
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Freshers:
Full Payment due by 21st August, 2009.
Part Payments due by 21st August, and 1st December, 2009.
2nd yrs to post grads:
Full payment due by 7th August, 2009
Part Payments due by 7th August, and 1st December, 2009

(Please note that if you are paying in 2 installments there is a charge of €25 per installment.).
ACCEPTANCE OF OFFERS
A lease agreement and Invoice will be issued in July with confirmation of room type. This must be signed and returned including the rental payment, and electricity.<./li>
CANCELLATION
1st years: €200 will be refunded should we receive written notification by August 21st. There will be no refunds after this date.
2nd years to post grads: €200 will be refunded should we receive written notification by August 7th. There will be no refunds after this date.
CAR PARKING
The cost is €300 per year.
