Terms & Conditions

1. THIS IS A NON-SMOKING COMPLEX

2. THE SUMMER SEASON RUNS FROM 30TH MAY TO 28TH AUGUST, 2010, AND ROOMS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE DURING THIS TIME.

3. APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN TO STUDENTS AND YOUNG PEOPLE WORKING IN CORK DURING THE SUMMER PERIOD, SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY.

4. OCCUPANCY TERMS

Minimum stay at The Village is one month.

Should the tenant vacate the complex, before the termination date they are obliged to pay rent in full up to this date.

Rental week commences on a Saturday.

Should a Tenant arrive on a week day, you will be charged nightly rate.

5. HOW TO RESERVE A ROOM

This form should be returned including security deposit of €150 (per person) and two weeks rent in advance.

Two recent passport photos signed at the back, and a landlord reference or the application will be rendered invalid.

The company acting through its management has the right to decline a booking.

Please note that not all preferences are guaranteed, on the type of room, location or room mates that you will share with.

The completed form should be returned to : THE STUDENT VILLAGE, VICTORIA CROSS, CORK.

Online bookings are also accepted via our website – www.studentvillage.ie

6. ARRIVALS

Keys must be collected between 9.30 am and 12 am.

There will be no arrivals after 12am

The tenant shall occupy the room assigned to them on the day of arrival.

The tenant must provide their own bed clothes.

7. DEPARTURES

Keys must be surrendered by 10am on the day of departure. If you are leaving before 9.30 am please advise reception on the previous day to organise refund etc.

Cash (at reception only)

Cheque or bank draft (euro only), made payable to : The Village Accommodation

Bank transfer (please contact reception for details)

Credit Card (please contact reception for details)

Foreign Students – Payment by bank transfer or Credit card only.

10. CANCELLATION OF BOOKING:

The cancellation fee is €100.

11. REFUNDS

Refunds are subject to the apartment being left in a clean and tidy condition including bedroom, bathrooms

kitchen and dining area, less any charges for damages and providing all rent has been paid.

12. INSPECTIONS

All apartments will be inspected on a weekly basis. Should the apartment fall below an acceptable standard of cleanliness, contract cleaners will be instructed to provide a once off cleaning service. The relevant occupants will be billed for same.
